The G6128TCG is quintessential 1950's Gretsch Jet style and captures the look and feel of a real vintage Gretsch. This well balanced guitar feels great to play and at just about 7.5 lbs is just the right weight. The Dynasonic pickups sound excellent with a big full bodied unrestrained bass response and very crisp and clear high frequencies. They are a perfect match for the guitar. They sound absolutely stunning when played clean and respond well to a fair amount of gain. The guitar is well suited for a great variety of styles. Back after nearly 50 years in the form of the G6128TCG Duo Jet, it has a single-cutaway chambered body in a mahogany stain finish with a striking Cadillac® green arched top. Features include one-piece mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with aged vintage-style hump block inlays, aged bindings (body, fingerboard and headstock), dual DynaSonicTM single-coil pickups, gold plexi pickguard, gold-plated Synchro-SonicTM bridge and Bigsby® B3G vibrato tailpiece.
