Lovingly dubbed "The Beast," Young sported this Firebird Red iteration of his Gretsch in the band's early days before eventually modding it out, stripping the paint, and giving it an entirely new look. To perfectly recreate Young's tone in AC/DC's formative years, this Gretsch comes with TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Tron bridge and neck pickups and a TV Jones Starwood humbucker in the middle position. These create that unmistakable vintage Gretsch voicing, but with some added punch and clarity for further sonic versatility.
Built to rattle the foundations in true Malcolm fashion, the G6131G-MY-RB features a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, giving it deep lows, spankin' mids, and a chiming top-end.
