This is the Gretsch G6134 White Penguin, the guitar of mythological proportions! Of the 1st White Penguins, very few were ever made and they continue to be one of the most highly valued vintage guitars. Vintage Penguins are indeed virtually unobtainable, as the few that were made are accounted for and residing in collections. Now, you can have your own White Penguin built to the modern standard of perfection that Gretsch is known for. Built to the first year Penguin specs, the new G6134 is all Pro series Gretsch with professional playability and fretwork combined amazing tone. It features top of the line pro series Gretsch material and it does not disappoint in looks or sound. The Dynasonics are excellent pickups that have a big, round bass response with a very clean and articulate high end that retains authentic vintage character. The "G" Cadillac tailpiece and Synchrosonic bridge wrap up the package very nicely, offering no frills perfect playability and classic looks.

About B-Stock:
This is a “new old stock” B-stock Gretsch guitar. The guitar is essentially new with one minor cosmetic flaw: There is a slight inconsistency in the binding near the neck heel (see photos for details). The guitar weighs 8 lbs 10 oz. and the serial number is JT11104184, which dates the guitar to 2011.
