The guitar is in nearly mint condition but does show evidence of being carefully handled and played a few times in our showroom. The guitar will ship as shown with full warranty and all the original factory documentation and packaging. We are authorized to give a great deal on our demo model Gretsch guitars! This is the G9221 "Bobtail" Steel Round-Neck Resonator from the Gretsch Roots Series. The Roots Series resonator guitars are some of the best values we've seen in this genre. Their modest price belies their great tone and excellent playability. Features like a bone nut and European resonator cone set the Gretsch Roots series apart from other resophonics in their price range. The G9221 adds a steel body to the “Bobtail” design which yields a bigger punchier tone the wood body version. The guitars spider cone design offers a very sweet and articulate resophonic tone with a full range sound. This makes the Bobtail a perfect fit for finger style and folk playing as well as blues slide work. The G9221 features a professional quality Fishman pickup factory installed. This is a passive full range peizo pickup that really captures the full spectrum of sound from this guitar. The pickup is ideally paired up with a good full range acoustic amp or DI but can also be dialed in on an electric guitar amp as well. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes with the full Gretsch Limited lifetime factory warranty.
