Tonally, it delivers everything we like about the standard run: a chambered genuine mahogany body that keeps it light and resonant, with a gold foil mini humbucker at the neck and a full-sized gold foil humbucker at the bridge. The combination covers a lot of ground-warm and expressive when clean, and full of harmonic texture when pushed. The semi-hollow construction gives it a bit of air and bloom, without the feedback issues you'd expect from a fully hollow guitar.
The neck feels comfortable right away, thanks to the "C" profile and 12-inch radius. It plays fast, but never too slick or thin. Locking tuners and the custom half-bridge with compensated saddles keep things stable, and the whole build feels solid and well-executed.
