The Heritage H-535 Standard Semi-Hollow with Bigsby - Olive Drab is a unique twist on a classic, ideal for intermediate to professional players looking for something versatile with vintage attitude. Built in the USA at the Heritage factory in Kalamazoo, this version takes the tried-and-true H-535 platform and adds a pair of Lollartron pickups plus a Bigsby tailpiece, giving it a wide expressive range that leans into rockabilly, country, and roots rock territory. It's got the feel of a vintage hollowbody with just enough grit and modern edge to stand out on stage or in the studio.
The laminated maple top and back with a solid maple center block keep things bright and punchy while reducing feedback-a must-have for live players. The set mahogany neck and rosewood board add warmth and sustain, and the electronics package is dialed in for pro-level performance: CTS pots, Vishay caps, and a Switchcraft toggle ensure reliability and tone consistency. Lollartron pickups, based on those found in a '63 Country Gentleman, bring out articulate highs and a fat, clean low end-great for everything from clean jangle to grittier blues-rock tones.
Playability is solid across the board thanks to its comfortable Standard neck profile, 12" radius, and Jescar medium/jumbo frets. The Bigsby tailpiece adds a smooth vibrato touch without sacrificing tuning stability, thanks to Grover tuners and a rock-solid setup. This is one of those guitars that feels familiar right out of the case, and we've found it to be incredibly reliable both on stage and off. It's a sleeper pick for players wanting a semi-hollow that does a little more-and sounds just a little different.
