This one's part of Ibanez's Advanced Acoustic series, which takes their traditional dreadnought design and sizes it up by 5% into what they call a "Grand Dreadnought" body. If you're looking for more volume and low-end response than a standard dreadnought but still want comfort during long playing sessions, this delivers on both fronts.
The solid Sitka spruce top paired with sapele back and sides gives you a bright, articulate sound with solid midrange warmth and plenty of projection. The purpleheart fretboard and bridge add some visual interest while contributing to the overall tonal character. When plugged in, the T-bar undersaddle pickup translates well through amps or PA systems, and the AEQ-TP2 preamp gives you 2-band EQ and an onboard tuner mounted on the upper bout where it's easy to see.
