The body on this Q52 Q Standard was built following a player-centric design to optimize comfort and tone. With its lightweight, compact shape, this guitar effectively eliminates shoulder strain, making it ideal for extended performances and practice sessions. It also features numerous strategically placed curves, meticulously sculpted to fit your body whether you're seated or standing. Don't worry, though - even though this guitar sports a slimmer body, it still produces an excellent tone. Crafted from a premium piece of Nyatoh, the body of this guitar produces a highly resonant tone with a strong, rich, mid-low end.
Just like the body, the neck on this guitar is superbly comfortable, offering an outstanding in-hand feel. In order to make this neck perfect for a wide range of styles and players, Ibanez selected a very neutral shape for the neck profile. Not too thick, not too thin, and not too flat, this 3-piece roasted maple and bubinga neck is highly stable and is an absolute joy to play. And, with its beautiful heat-treated birdseye maple fretboard, this axe has an exotic appearance, loads of attack, and a rich sustain.
The real powerhouse of this guitar, though, is a set of super-modern Q58 pickups, specifically designed to pair well with headless instruments. These humbuckers offer a clear and defined sound with an exceptional tonal balance across the whole frequency spectrum. With powerful lows, punchy mids, and chiming highs, these pickups pump out a rich but defined tone that sounds excellent in any genre. Thanks to Ibanez's masterful pickup construction, these pickups have an extremely low noise performance that makes them sound great with both digital and analog effects. And, for extensive tone shaping, this Q52 Q Standard comes equipped with a dyna-MIX 10 switch, offering ten unique single coil and humbucking sounds.
Complete with a custom string lock, a durable Mono-Tune bridge, and a beaming laser blue matte finish, this Ibanez Q52 Q Standard is a state-of-the-art guitar that is certain to turn heads.
