The LR Baggs M80 is a magnetic soundhole pickup designed to bring out the full voice of your acoustic guitar, not just the string vibrations. Most magnetic pickups stop at the strings, but the M80's patented floating humbucking coil works as a 3D body sensor, capturing the natural resonance of your guitar's top, back, and sides. If you've ever felt like your plugged-in tone lacks the depth and warmth of your unplugged sound, this is the kind of pickup that bridges that gap.
You can run it either active or passive with a simple switch, active mode gives you a built-in preamp with high-fidelity circuitry and EQ shaping, while passive mode lets you go battery-free.
