Description

The Martin OM-28E LRB is a great fit for intermediate to professional players who want a reliable acoustic-electric that can do a little bit of everything-fingerstyle, flatpicking, or strumming. This one's part of Martin's updated Standard Series for 2025 and keeps the classic OM body style that's made it a studio and stage staple for years. With LR Baggs Anthem electronics onboard, you're getting a warm, full-bodied tone plugged in, without losing the natural acoustic character.

It's built with a solid Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, which gives it that rich harmonic depth, strong low-end, and crisp highs. The 25.4" scale length adds a little more snap to the tone and helps with projection. Inside, you've got Sitka spruce bracing in the Golden Era pattern; that helps bring out more of a vintage voice with strong sustain and clarity. The neck profile is Martin's Modified Low Oval with a high-performance taper-fast, comfortable, and really well-suited for modern players who want smooth transitions up and down the neck.

It's built to hold up in a mix, whether you're on stage or recording, and the fit and finish is classic Martin; herringbone trim, antique white binding, and a clean natural gloss. The LR Baggs Anthem system is super transparent and easy to dial in. From a comfort, tone, and long-term reliability standpoint, this is one of those guitars we trust completely-ready to go straight out of the case, and it'll only open up more as you play it.
