The completely analog Smog overdrive from Mastro Valvola was designed as a warm, transparent overdrive. The Smog has an incredible response to the dynamics of your guitar (or bass!) playing, and has a huge range of tonal frequencies, with Volume, Tone, and Smog (gain) knobs, plus a Mid switch that changes the voicing of the pedal between "mod." and "vint."
