Mesa Boogie's CabClone Speaker Cabinet Simulator is a passive cabinet simulator and load box that allows you to use your guitar amp in an array of different settings. By connecting your amp's speaker output to the CabClone, you can send your amp's tone directly into microphone preamps, recording interfaces, or into mixing consoles. This is ideal when you want the awesome sound of a cranked 150-watt tube amp, but aren't trying to drown out the rest of your band with a roaring speaker cabinet. Instead, you can run the XLR DI output of the Mesa Boogie CabClone Speaker Cabinet Simulator into the mixing board, and you'll have a great, full tone, without blowing eardrums.
With three different simulators, you can emulate the sound of closed-back, open-back, and vintage cabinets, making it easy to get great tones from your amp without lugging around heavy speakers. It also has a headphone driver that delivers a headphone-friendly version of your amp's tone that's perfect for late night practice sessions.
