The Mesa Boogie Stowaway is a compact Class-A input buffer that's designed to quietly fix the kind of signal issues that sneak up on your tone over time. If you're running a longer cable from your guitar to your pedalboard, or stacking true-bypass pedals that don't always play nice together, this pedal helps keep your signal intact. It's ideal for players who want to maintain the feel and clarity of plugging straight into a high-quality tube amp, even when running through a full board.
The Stowaway's discrete Class-A design ensures no added coloration while providing a consistent, stable load to your guitar pickups. That means your top-end stays clear, your dynamics stay punchy, and you don't lose that "direct-to-amp" feel-even if you're hitting the first pedal in your chain via a super long cable run. It also includes built-in RFI filtering to help block out unwanted noise from radio signals or power interference.
With its tiny footprint, this is a "set it, forget it, slap it to the bottom side of your pedalboard as the name suggests" kind of tool. We recommend putting it right at the start of your chain(unless you're using a Fuzz- conventional wisdom says most fuzz pedals don't play nice with buffers going into the front).
