Akin to its larger bodied brothers, the Martin 000-15M brings an industrious history to the present in the highly-prized 000 body. Its smaller size shifts the bottom up a little in dynamic range, but its all mahogany body creates a smooth, mild low end that blends effortlessly into its midrange without compromising the crisp highs that round out its overall tone. Between the weight of its wood and the satin finish, this guitar ends up being quite light with a surprisingly strong projection. About the 15 Series:
The 1930's brought hard economic times for America and Martin Guitar's answer was to focus their efforts on a line of simple utilitarian guitars now known as the "15" series. The 15 series still exits to this day despite the ups and downs of the U.S. economy. Features like a satin lacquer finish instead of high gloss, simple single herringbone rosette and unbound body are all intended to keep the price low without sacrificing quality or tone.
Condition:
