Description
A super cool, true vintage Teisco Model R lap steel made in Japan. It has a wonderful art deco look to it & functions well.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings. scratches, finish wear & some amateur finish touch-ups.
Neck/Body: Square neck with black glossy fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. A couple of dots are missing & some are faded. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-back tuners in good working condition. Ar Deco body with nickel "plate" on top. The back pad has deteriorated over the years. Lap steel weighs 3 lbs 9.7 oz.
Electroics: Single coil pickup with master volume & tone controls. The volume works fine, but the tone pot is a bit scratchy & weak.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is pretty rough - all the exterior tolex has been removed & the interior felt is pretty much gone as well.
