Spaceman Effects' Explorer Deluxe is an optical phaser with six analog stages for a huge wealth of sounds. Its straightforward controls include four knobs and two mini-knobs. Adjust Resonance, Speed, and Range, as well as a six-way Shape knob. Level and Mix are your controls on the mini-knobs. Just about every phase shifting sound you can think of is achievable with this pedal, from rotary-style sounds to slow, sweeping phasing.
