What makes this guitar special? All around, this guitar plays as good as it looks and sounds. The mid-60s profile neck has a fantastic full-in-hand feel that moves comfortably up and down the neck. The period-correct pickups have a great vintage character complete with the timeless Telecaster twang. In addition, this Tele comes with a flash coat lacquer Fiesta Red finish, which as many know, are few and far between. Plus, it’s super clean and was well taken care of. With the price tag that’s on it, it likely won’t last long, so don’t hesitate.
Condition: This American Vintage ’64 Telecaster is in excellent-mint condition overall. It does have some light surface scratches from light play wear, but is still extremely clean. The frets show very little wear and the fingerboard is in similarly great shape. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly as it should.
Body: Alder body with a Fender flash coat lacquer finish in Fiesta Red. 3-saddle bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles. 3-ply white pickguard with vintage bevel. Chrome hardware.
Neck: Maple neck with Mid-‘60s C profile. Rosewood fingerboard with vintage-style frets and 7.25” radius. Fender Deluxe vintage style chrome/nickel tuning machines.
Electronics: American Vintage ’64 Gray-Bottom single-coil Tele pickups in the neck and bridge. 3-way selector switch, 1 volume, 1 tone control.
