Description

What’s special about this guitar: It will be covered again in the playability/sound section, but it’s really worth repeating. This Flying V is truly a classic. This axe has a classy look and classic sound, and happens to come from one of the most revered electric guitar manufacturers in the world. If that’s not enough to convince you, just know that it’s also a Limited Edition from the Hit and Run series, and a 120th Anniversary to boot. It’s also SUPER clean for a used guitar. Oh, and did we mention the price tag? See above. Look up, drop jaw down, then pick it up. It shouldn’t be left unplayed, so do the right thing.

Condition: This guitar is in overall excellent shape. It is super clean and the few scratches it does have are very light and sparsely distributed. There is no fret wear and the fretboard is in fantastic shape as well. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly as it should.

Body: Mahogany body in Heritage Cherry. Equipped with a chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar, black top hats knobs (w/ silver inserts) and a white pickguard.

Neck: Mahogany neck with Thin V .800-.875 profile. Rosewood fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays and the 120th banner in the 12th fret. White TekToid nut, 1.695” width. Chrome Grover Kidney tuning machines.

Pickups/Electronics: BurstBucker Rhythm Pro pickup in the neck and BurstBucker Lead Pro in the bridge Two volume controls, one tone controls. 3-way switchcraft toggle switch with cream tip.

Weight: 6.9 lbs

Playability/Sound: This guitar looks, sounds, and feels like an absolute classic. Playability is great with the low action our techs laced it up with. Surprisingly resonant body and great sounding pickups.

Case: Includes Gibson hardshell case.
