Description

With a slick gloss top, wood herringbone rosette, black binding and tortoise pickguard, the D-16RGT is a perfect clash of modern flash with traditional class. Although its appointments are modest compared to some of the rest of the Martin line, don’t be fooled into believing this guitar has anything less than a bold voice. To go along with the humble appointments is also a humble price tag, making the affordability and value of this model speak as loudly as the guitar itself. This model is a slight change from the D16GT, with the addition of East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The D16RGT is a great strummer or picker with a big, clean sound and great playability. Please feel free to give us a call toll free or live chat with us if you have any questions about this exceptional instrument.

Condition:

This Martin is in excellent condition with a few minor surface scratches. It includes a case and weighs 4 lbs, 9.6 ounces.

About the 16 Series:

Style "16" guitars were first introduced in 1961 to provide an affordable, high-quality Martin instrument with understated appointments. Later, they were the first production Martins to utilize sustainable, native woods such as ash and walnut, as well as the first to implement hybrid A-frame "X" bracing. Today, the innovative 16 series guitars are offered in a variety of sizes, gloss and satin finishes, cutaway and standard models, onboard electronics and premium solid woods including mahogany, East Indian rosewood, koa, sapele and maple.
