What’s special about this bass: This is a gorgeous Rickenbacker 4003W bass with a phenomenal feel and sound. This bass features a maple neck through body design with a walnut body for incredible sustain, dual single-coil pickups, a 4-saddle bridge with a string mute mechanism and even has a vintage tone push/pull pot on the treble tone control. This allows the player to use either a standard tone circuit or a vintage tone circuit. The neck is beyond comfortable with a nicely rounded shape!
Condition: Excellent condition! There are tiny and faint surface scratches throughout the entire instrument but it ultimately looks pristine! The fingerboard and frets are immaculate with no visible play wear. The neck is superbly comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured walnut body with a bound top and neck-through maple center in natural finish. Rickenbacker 4-saddle bridge with string mute mechanism. Bridge pickup cover, black skirted control knobs with silver tops and a single-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Very comfortable and nicely shaped maple neck with a bound maple fingerboard. Pearloid sharkfin inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Open-gear tuners, 33 ¼” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls, a 3-way selector switch and a push/pull pot on the treble tone control for switching between a standard tone circuit and a vintage tone circuit. The bass features both standard and Rick O Sound output jacks.
