Handcrafted by master luthier Alonso Le Dosseur in Rouen, France, this superb Selmer Maccaferri style Gypsy Jazz guitar features a solid cedar top with a "Grande Bouche" D soundhole, along with gorgeous Macassar ebony for the back & sides. Fully inspected & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Flame maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Slotted headstock with ebony veneer. Gold Schaller tuners with ivoroid buttons & bone nut. 1.75" nut width with zero fret; 26.378" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Selmer Maccaferri style body with cutaway & multi-layer binding. Solid cedar top with Grande Bouche D soundhole & multi-ring rosette. DR tailpiece with ebony bridge & clear pickguard. The bridge required a couple of shims. Macassar ebony back & sides. The back is perfectly bookmatched & looks stunning! There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 5.9 oz.
