Description
What makes this guitar special: This Avalon is a well-rounded acoustic with excellent playability and tone. The most noticeable aspects visually are the perfectly aged Sitka spruce top and luscious and even-grained cuts of rosewood that grace the back and sides of this guitar. Its tone is perfectly compressed in the low end, smooth in the mid-range, and crisp with pleasant chime in the top end. It also features Fishman’s Prefix Plus electronics system that offers extensive control over the amplified tone and translates the inherent acoustic tone with transparency.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall if not better. It does possess various dings, dents, nicks, and scratches, but largely remains very clean for a used guitar and still looks great. There are some scratches in the fingerboard from about the 11th fret up, but do not affect playability and are merely cosmetic. The frets themselves show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
