The Phoenix is a high quality, custom-built solid body designed to combine aspects of both a Gibson Firebird & Fender Telecaster. Featuring a single piece of mahogany with two Lollar mini-humbuckers set close to the standard C profile neck - the essence of a Firebird in the distinctive Tele shape. A super hot Lollar Special T single coil bridge pickup is the finishing touch to truly join these two instruments together in a way that just works. Coil taps for the humbuckers offer up gorgeous tones in a familiar & comfortable package that will truly set your playing on fire! Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factoy & given a light distressed look - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; weather checking & some mild finish wear.
Neck: Chunky profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with outline trapezoid inlays. 22 medium jumbo frets in great shape with no wear. Grover Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Firebird-style, neck-thru design with solid mahogany wings. Tele-shaped body with belly contour. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles. 3-ply white pickguard & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 12.7 oz.
Electronics: Lollar Firebird neck & middle mini humbuckers with Lollar Special T bridge single coil. 5-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. The tone control is push/pull for coil tapping. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & Build Sheet.
