Since 1985, luthier Chuck Thornton has been building professional & premium grade electric guitars in Sumner, Maine. This ultra cool Legend Special is a wonderful representation of Chuck's excellent craftsmanship. The chunky mahogany neck feels so comfortable & plays perfectly anywhere on the fretboard. Loaded with a pair of gorgeous sounding Zhangbucker P-90s that deliver rich, creamy tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to perform upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some weather checking.
Neck: Large profile mahogany neck with ivoroid binding & black side-dots. 12" radius Bois de Rose fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. 6130 frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Ebony headstock veneer & Gotoh 510 tuners with ivoroid buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 5/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with eastern maple top & ivoroid binding. Faber compensated wrap-around bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.4 oz.
Electronics: Zhangbucker Cherrick P-90 (neck ) & Honk 90 (bridge) with 3-way selector switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with spec & warranty sheets.
