Description
A 2016 Ceriatone JTM50 an in upgraded head cabinet. The chassis was hand-wired by Ceriatone. The original owner then matched the chassis with a proper Birch-ply, Marshall-style replica chassis. Additionally, the cabinet was fitted with a logo. The pictured logo has been removed from the cabinet but will be included separately. This amp has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds great.
Please note that effects loop and half power switch were excluded from this build, so the chassis was factory-fitted with dummy plugs.
From Ceriatone...
The Ceriatone JTM50 is a frequently misunderstood amplifier. The JTM50 has a misnomer as “a JTM45 with EL34s”. That is incorrect. Some players confuse the “black flag” nickname with this amp being used by the seminal punk band fronted by Henry Rollins. That is also incorrect. Okay, nobody confuses that, but we love “Family Man” so much we can’t help but reference it. The JTM50 “black flag” has aspects of a JTM45 and aspects of a Plexi50 Bass. But it is neither. For players looking for the sweetness of a JTM45, but with more midrange grind and a firmer bottom end, the JTM50 delivers in spades. Because of the tube rectification, it has more sag and compression than a Plexi50 Bass. Like other Ceriatone amps, we have labored carefully to select the finest components to suit the design, and the JTM50 uses our specially designed, custom transformers for superior reliability, frequency response, and feel.
