The D1 T S offers a slightly looser, more "broken in" feel & tone, featuring a rounder high end & fuller low mid-range, along with Traditional aesthetic appointments, such as gold mother of pearl inlays, custom wood purflings & rosette. Traditional models also feature an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer body finish, no tongue brace & a unique neck construction designed to complement the looser feel & voicing, along with a Traditional neck carve. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Honduran mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Ebony headstock veneer & Waverly nickel tuners with Butterbean buttons. 1 3/4" nut width with bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Dreadnought body in natural satin finish. Solid Sitka spruce top with tortoise binding. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle & tortoise end pins. Solid Honduran mahogany back & sides with tortoise binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 3.6 oz.
