Hand-built by luthier Pat Murray in Youngstown, OH, this Coop ST-Style is an exceptionally well-made custom guitar. Both the body & neck were hand-carved by Pat & his finish work is exquisite. Fitted with a pair of Rumpelstiltskin single coils for dynamite tone, this gorgeous one-of-a-kind solid body is destined to provide its next owner with a pleasurable playing experience for years to come.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" by Pat to give it that vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; weather checking & some finish wear. The guitar looks magnificent & has a really cool vibe to it.
Neck: Big "C" profile maple neck with 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard. .94" at the first fret & 1.00" at the twelfth. 22 medium jumbo frets in great shape with no wear & clay dot inlays. Vintage-style nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" width bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Gold over Sunburst. String-thru Tele style bridge with three adjustable saddles. 3-ply mint pickguard & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs a delightful 7 lbs 12.8 oz. with a tight neck/body connection for superb resonance!
Electronics: Rumpelstiltskin Tele style single coils. Bridge - 7.16K ohms; Neck - 7.06K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
