Description
What’s special about this banjo: This is a Basic model Deering banjo that plays and sounds exceptional for an instrument with such a simple design! This banjo features a metal pot with a single metal coordinator rod, double-bound resonator, a very comfortable 5-string mahogany neck and a nickel armrest. This particular model does not feature a tone ring however the banjo produces a very full-bodied sound with plenty of volume and resonance regardless!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches and some small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. There is some blemishing on some of the nickel parts but overall the banjo is very clean! The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and plenty of life left in them and the truss rod functions perfectly. All parts are in perfect working condition.
