Description
This guitar is for the player who wants to rock-out with a little extra earth shattering Strat sound and style. The Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster is wired for supercharged tonal versatility with three Texas Special single-coil pickups, a special rotary switch (disguised as the middle tone knob) with six distinct tone settings from wiry single-coil snap to searing lead. There is also an S-1 switch built into the volume knob that bypasses the onboard preamp to deliver that pure Strat tone.
Cosmetic Condition:
Exceptionally clean with some light surface scratching. You can hardly tell it's been played.
Neck:
Thin C maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and clay dot inlays. Fender sealed tuners. Frets show virtually no wear. The neck is straight and the truss rod works perfectly.
Body:
Alder body finished in Sunburst. Vintage style tremolo. Pearloid pickguard and backplate. Guitar weighs 7 lbs. 15.4 oz.
Electronics:
Three 'Texas Special' single-coil pickups. One master volume, 6-Position V6 Rotary Tone Switch and one master tone control. 5-Position Blade Pickup Switching. Volume knob has S-1 switch for bypassing the rotary switch/preamp.
