From Epiphone's limited-edition collaboration with Tool's Adam Jones, this Les Paul Custom Art Series #4 features Julie Heffernan's "Study for Self-Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse" on the rear-an ornate, surrealist piece that blends perfectly with the guitar's iconic Silverburst top and dark gothic aesthetics. Built on classic Les Paul DNA, it's loaded with premium touches like multi-ply binding, ebony fingerboard, mahogany body and neck, and a stunningly even Silverburst gloss finish.
This one's been thoughtfully upgraded with a Seymour Duncan Jazz neck humbucker, offering clear, articulate highs and smooth low-end response-an ideal match for the heavy, harmonic-rich voice of the Adam Jones model. It's been professionally inspected and set up by our in-house techs, ensuring low, comfortable action and excellent intonation. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the board.
Cosmetic Condition:
Very clean overall. No major dings or chips, only minimal signs of handling. The artwork on the back is fully intact and vibrant.
Neck:
Mahogany neck with custom Adam Jones profile, ebony fretboard, block inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets. Minimal playwear. Grover Rotomatic tuners hold tuning well. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Solid mahogany body with maple cap in Silverburst gloss finish. Multi-ply binding, sculpted heel, and rear artwork featuring Julie Heffernan's "Study for Self-Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse." Heavy but balanced, with excellent sustain.
Electronics:
Seymour Duncan Jazz neck humbucker, stock Seymour Duncan Distortion bridge humbucker, 3-way selector, and individual volume/tone controls. All electronics fully functional and noise-free. Original Neck pickup is in the case.
