What’s special about this guitar: The Dot is an overall well-made guitar that gives player’s the sound of a 335 style guitar without the thousand dollar price tag. This one in particular has a lovely top with some subtle but very nice figuring that helps it stand out a little bit. The pickups sound exceptional and the neck is very comfortable.
Condition: This instrument is in great shape overall with only some minor surface scratches; most of which are on the pickguard. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with comfortable, low action and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: double-bound semi hollow body with maple top, back and sides in natural finish. The top has some subtly but lovely figuring! Stop-Bar Tailpiece, six-saddle bridge, skirted control knobs, dual F-holes and a 3-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed nickel tuners, 24 3/4” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Epiphone humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.35K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.20K Ohms.
Weight: 8lbs, 1.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is an all around great playing Dot. It has a great semi-hollow body sound and the neck is exceptionally comfortable!
