These are crafted with sand cast Alnico magnets, CTS electronics, and 18% nickel silver unit bases and covers, which is the same alloy originally used by Gibson at the Kalamazoo factory. And if you love sixties-era Les Pauls, you want a thin neck profile, so thanks to the Les Paul Standard '60s' SlimTaper shape, you get a fast-playing in-hand feel, plus a 12" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets to top it off.
