Epiphone's Les Paul Standard '60s model is a part of the all-new Inspired by Gibson Collection, which recreate the sound and style of 1960s-era Les Pauls. With a maple-capped mahogany body, cream binding on the body and neck, and a set of exceptional ProBucker pickups, you get classic Gibson looks and tone without breaking your bank account. The vintage "P.A.F." sound LP aficionados love is on full display thanks to the guitar's ProBucker humbuckers. These are crafted with sand cast Alnico magnets, CTS electronics, and 18% nickel silver unit bases and covers, which is the same alloy originally used by Gibson at the Kalamazoo factory. And if you love sixties-era Les Pauls, you want a thin neck profile, so thanks to the Les Paul Standard '60s' SlimTaper shape, you get a fast-playing in-hand feel, plus a 12" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets to top it off. If you love the style and sound of 1960s Les Pauls, but don't have an arm and a leg to spare, then go with Epiphone's Les Paul Standard '60s.
