A contoured double-cutaway body sets the foundation for the SG Standard, allowing complete access to the upper frets. Joining the body is a glued-in mahogany neck, a construction technique that enhances sustain to help notes ring longer and fuller. Musicians will also love how the neck's SlimTaper "C" profile feels; it's thin and fast for easy shredding.
Armed with a pair of ProBucker pickups, the Epiphone SG Standard can dish out a wide variety of world-class tones. The ProBucker 2 neck pickup is rich and full, while the ProBucker 3 bridge humbucker is slightly hotter for more punch and power. Complete with a 3-way pickup selector and individual volume and tone controls for each humbucker, this axe is incredibly versatile.
