Description
If you've been looking for a guitar that plays, sounds, and feels just like a well-gigged guitar but doesn't have that dreaded vintage markup, look no further than this Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster. With its Tex Mex single-coil pickups, relic'd Butterscotch finish, and easy-playing jumbo frets, this Road Worn Tele is a perfect fit for classic guitar enthusiasts.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in excellent shape. Aside from the factory relic job that gives it a well-worn look, the finish is in good condition, the neck is clean, and the hardware is in like-new condition.
Neck: Maple neck with a 21 fret maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. The jumbo frets are in great shape with almost no wear, the truss rod is fully functional, and the tuners turn without resistance. The neck measures a comfy 1.65" wide at the nut, 0.90" thick at the first fret, and 0.95" thick at the 12th fret.
Body: A solid ash body gives this Fender a sweet tone with rich lows and a pronounced midrange. It sports a vintage-style 3-saddle, string-through-body Tele bridge and a 1-ply black pickguard, giving it a cool, old-school aesthetic. Weighs 8 lbs. 5.4 oz.
Electronics: This Tele sports a Tex Mex single-coil pickup in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan antiquity single-coil in the bridge, giving it that classic Tele twang with increased output to accommodate a wider range of playing styles. Whether you're going for chicken pickin' blues or classic rock riffage, these pickups sit perfectly in the sweet spot. All electronics have been tested and work great.
Case: Ships with a tweed hardshell case to match its vintage vibe.
