In 1960 Fender offered rosewood as the standard fingerboard wood & launched the Telecaster Custom, an elegant model with a double-bound body & 3-ply pickguard. The American Original '60s Telecaster combines period-accurate sound & style from this electrifying decade with modern, fast-playing feel & pickup switching. Pro set up included & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Mid-60s "C"-shaped maple neck with 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Vintage Fender tuners work perfectly. 1.650" width bone nut; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, solid alder body finished in Fiesta Red. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles & bridge cover included. 3-ply eggshell pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.5 oz.
Electronics: Pure Vintage '64 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil Tele pickups. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. 3-way selector switch with black "top hat" cap. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case with original paperwork.
