Description
This Fender American Performer Telecaster Hum offers players the best of both worlds: a rich, warm-sounding humbucker in the neck position and a hot, spankin' single-coil in the bridge. Players will love its Greasebucket tone system that rolls off the highs without adding any low-end and muddying up your tone. And, with its versatile coil-tapping capabilities, this Tele is more than capable of delivering a wide range of top-notch tones.
Cosmetic Condition: This Tele is in exceptional condition with almost no noticeable playwear. The body finish looks great, the neck is clean, and the hardware is like-new.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with a 22 jumbo fret maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. The frets have virtually no wear, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is fully functional. The neck measures 1.685" wide at the nut, and its modern "C" shape is a dream to play, perfect for pulling off blistering solos and rapid chord changes. Neck width at 1st fret - 0.82". Neck width at 12th fret - 0.90."
Body: This Tele's alder body gives it a snappy tone with punchy mids and a sharp attack. Its 3-saddle vintage-style string-through-body bridge gives it loads of sustain, and the brass saddles imbue a touch of warmth into this Tele's tone. Weighs 7 lbs. 11.1 oz.
Electronics: A Yosemite single-coil Telecaster pickup in the bridge position delivers a bright, snarling twang, while an American Performer Double Tap humbucker churns out a thick, full-bodied resonance. For players seeking a more traditional Tele sound, just pull up on the tone knob, and the humbucker will operate as a single-coil. All electronics are fully functional.
Case: Ships with the original hardshell case.
