The American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster features a comfortable "C" shape maple neck that plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard & vintage tall frets. Characteristic of production in 1966, this guitar is offered with white neck binding, pearl blocks & single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners . The patented "floating" tremolo, adjustable bridge with threaded saddles & Pure Vintage '66 Jazzmaster pickups wired to the signature rhythm & lead circuits deliver classic tone & authentic Fender feel. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with various surface scratches.
Neck: C-shaped maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. 21 vintage tall frets are clean with no wear. Pure Vintage single line "Fender Deluxe" tuners & bone nut. 1.650" nut width & 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-color sunburst. Pure Vintage Jazzmaster tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm. Unoriginal Bensonite replacement bridge with adjustable "barrel" saddles. 4-ply tortoise pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual Pure Vintage '66 Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with white "witch hat" knobs. Lead Circuit Controls (Slide Switch Down): Master Volume, Master Tone; Rhythm Circuit Controls (Slide Switch Up): Two Thumbwheel Controls for Neck Pickup Volume and Tone. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
