This gorgeous Tele Custom features a Wide Range humbucker in the neck position along with a Pure Vintage '77 single coil in the bridge. To create an authentic Wide-Range humbucking pickup Fender resurrected CuNiFe magnets which had been out of production since 1981 & are an essential element in recreating the sonics of the original. This Tele plays like a dream, featuring a '77 "C"-shape hard rock maple neck with a 7.25" radius maple fingerboard & vintage tall frets. Additional features include a string-thru bridge with 6 slotted steel barrel saddles, "F" stamped tuners, a convenient "Bullet" style truss rod nut & a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt mechanism. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: 1977 "C" shape maple neck & 7.25" radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Vintage Tall frets are clean with no wear. F-stamped tuners with bullet truss rod & double string trees. 1.650" nut width with bone nut & 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Wine Red. String-thru bridge with six mini "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.6 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range neck humbucker & Pure Vintage '77 Tele bridge single coil with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Fender hardshell case - brown tolex with orange interior. The original would have been black tolex with orange interior. Original paperwork is included.
