In a world where the Telecaster seems to reign supreme, it's refreshing to come across a nice Esquire once in a while, and this 1960 Custom Journeyman definitely hits the mark, with its silky smooth neck & handsome 3-tone chocolate sunburst finish. The hand-wound 63 Tele bridge single coil combined with the unique Esquire wiring delivers that signature spank & twang versatility we've come to admire about this model. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: This is a light relic model that was intentionally "aged" at the factory to give it that gently played & slightly worn "vintage" look - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: 60 Style Oval "C" shape maple neck with 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Medium Jumbo 6150 frets are clean with no wear. Vintage-style tuners & single string tree. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, solid alder body finished in a chocolate 3-tone sunburst. Traditional string-thru Tele bridge with three adjustable threaded saddles & original bridge cover included. 3-ply mint pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.8 oz.
Electronics: Hand-wound '63 Tele bridge single coil with 3-way selector switch & Esquire wiring. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, Shop Floor Traveler & accessories.
