Description
What makes this guitar special: Thanks to Fender Custom Shop's stunning attention to detail and love for era-defining guitars, the 1962 Heavy Relic Stratocaster brings classic Fender aura, period-accurate construction, and the time-honored Fender feel to your fingertips. American Vintage hardware, Vintage Modified pickup wiring, and a heavy relic give this guitar a look comparable to an original ’62. Its red sparkle finish is applied over black rosewood and has just the right amount of checking that tastefully brings its vintage aesthetic together. Sonically, the 1962 Stratocaster features a trio of handwound Fat ‘60s pickups for delivering the classic jangle that made the Stratocaster what it is today. An oval “C” neck, bone nut, and tinted quartersawn maple neck further the guitar’s stellar playability, and provide the perfect combination of feel and looks.
