In 1969, Fender made several modifications to the Stratocaster, bringing back the slightly chunkier "U" shaped neck profile and implementing classic "F" tuners. This guitar features those period-correct specs and an immaculate Journeyman Relic finish package that makes it nearly indistinguishable from a genuine '69 Strat.
Powering this guitar is a trio of hand-wound '69 Strat pickups that deliver a gorgeous tone characterized by deep, decadent lows and bright, spanky highs. The middle pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum canceling in the middle position, allowing for noiseless operation when needed.
