Description
In 2020 Fender celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the Broadcaster with an exquisite LTD model, featuring a commemorative neck plate & loaded with a pair of hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard single coils that deliver blistering tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factory to give it that well-worn, "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Maple Rift Sawn neck with 1950 Blackguard profile. 7.25"-9.50" compound radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Medium Vintage frets are clean with no wear. Vintage-style tuners & round string tree. 1.630" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid ash body finished in Aged Nocaster Blonde. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover included. Single-ply black pickguard & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.1 oz.
Electronics: Hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard single coils with 3-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. The current control plate wired to the guitar is traditional Broadcaster wiring. The extra control plate with electronics is stock from Fender & is more like standard/modern wiring. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, Shop Floor Traveler & accessories.
