Well here's something you don't see everyday - a super cool & ultra rare early Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Thinline finished in Firemist Gold! The guitar was made in 1990 & sports the early version Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock. This gorgeous Thinline is nothing short of magnificent & delivers amazing tone with a gorgeous natural acoustic resonance. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Overall the guitar looks really wonderful, but does show signs of some light play wear - some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with mild surface scratches. In other words, gently used, but not abused.
Neck: Nicely rounded, medium profile maple neck that gets chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with almost no wear. Single string tree & vintage-style tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Semi-hollow body with single F-hole & finished in Firemist Gold. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 5 oz.
Electronics: Fender Custom Shop Tele single coils. Bridge - 7.00K ohms; Neck - 7.64K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. 3-way selector switch with black "top hat" cap. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender dark green tweed hardshell case included.
