Description

What makes this guitar special? This guitar is a clever step away from the traditional Telecaster and Jazzmaster builds, but blends the two beautifully in one simple yet potent instrument. The pickups are the perfect combination of the two, starting with a rich, chime-y soap bar style pickup in the neck, and a single-coil in the bridge that adds all the pop and snap one would need. The same blend holds true in the overall construction, which features a basswood Telecaster body and a comfortable, tinted maple Jazzmaster neck. Top wrap the whole package together, it has been finished in Butterscotch Blonde and complemented with black pickup covers and pickguard to give it an ultimately classic look. This is an incredibly underrated guitar that deserves a good home, so don’t hesitate to give it one.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does have a few light scratches from being played, but overall, shows very few other signs of wear and still looks and plays great. The frets show only light wear and still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway basswood body in Butterscotch Blonde. Single-ply black pickguard. Vintage-style strings-through-body Tele bridge with brass saddles. Chrome knurled knobs and control plate.

Neck: C shape maple Jazzmaster neck and 9.5” radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. 1.650” synthetic bone nut. Medium jumbo frets.

Electronics: Duncan Designed TE-101B single-coil in the bridge and Duncan Designed JM-101N single-coil Jazzmaster pickup w/ Alnico 5 magnets. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 11.7 oz

Playability/Sound: This guitar has a great pickup configuration with the soapbar in the neck and single-coil in the bridge. The combination of the two produces a good amount of variance that has both rich chime with good low end response in the neck and a good amount of pop and snap in the bridge. The C shape neck is comfortable and familiar and plays easy from the nut to the cutaway.

Case: No case included.
