Description
What’s special about this bass: The Starcaster was made for a brief time in the 70s and achieved a cult status. This modern incarnation features an offset semi-hollow body with an alder center block for rich sustain, bound F-holes and beautiful sounding Wide Range Humbuckers. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and overall this is a well-made, great playing bass at a highly affordable price!
Condition: This bass is in excellent shape! There may be a few tiny surface scratches throughout the entire instrument. This piece looks virtually un-played! Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, offset cutaway body with maple top, back and sides in natural finish. The wood grain on this one looks excellent! Fender High-Mass 4-saddle bridge, blackface style control knobs and dual bound F-holes.
Neck: “C” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and some subtle yet beautiful flame figuring. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1.625” nut. Open-gear tuners, 30” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Wide Range humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
