Description
The G&L Comanche is Leo’s final word on the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on axe. Fact is, the first thing you’ll notice about the Comanche is the distinctive shape of the Magnetic Field Design Z-Coil pickups designed by Leo Fender himself. These pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end while offering a robust bottom end, all without any 60-cycle hum. You’ll find plenty of power in the Z-coil pickups, but what’s surprising is how glassy and detailed they become as you roll back the volume and bass controls.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition with some mild surface scratches & fingerboard wear. Overall the guitar looks great & plays like a champ!
Neck: Maple neck with black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Locking tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in Blackfinish. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. 5-ply gold pickguard & single-ply black trem cover. However, the original 3-ply white pearloid pickguard is also included. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.7 oz.
Electronics: MFD Z-Coil pickups. Bridge - 5.38K ohms; Middle - 5.35K ohms; Neck - 5.25K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with knurled knobs. 5-way pickup selector switch with 2-way mini toggle for series/parallel.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
