The foundation of the L-2500 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone control system, providing the sort of versatility that'll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you're laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, the L-2500 brings the kind of chops that'll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin' funk. What's more,it features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & very clean with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: #10 G&L Modern 5-string C-shaped hard-rock maple neck with 12" radius maple fingerboard & black pearl face dot inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear. G&L Ultra-Lite tuners & bone nut. 1 3/4" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid empress body finished in Blueburst with maple top binding. Top-loading Saddle-Lock bridge with adjustable saddles. Bass weighs 7 lbs 15.7 oz. & is exceptionally resonant.
Electronics: G&L MFD L-Series humbuckers with Tri-Tone active/passive system & knurled flat-top chrome control knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, spec sheet & warranty card.
