The G&L Placentia Series ASAT Classic Bluesboy blends classic single-cut style with a versatile pickup configuration that expands well beyond traditional twang. Finished in a rich Espresso gloss, this 2020 example pairs an alder body with a string-through bridge and brass saddles for strong sustain and lively resonance. The Bluesboy configuration adds a warm, articulate neck humbucker alongside G&L's punchy MFD bridge single-coil, giving the guitar a wide tonal palette that moves easily from smooth, rounded neck tones to crisp, cutting bridge snap.
This guitar has been inspected and set up to play comfortably and reliably. Cosmetic Condition:
Overall clean with typical light signs of handling and use. There is a noticeable dig near the horn as shown in the photos.
Neck:
Hard rock maple neck with a maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. Medium jumbo frets show minimal playwear. Sealed tuners, 25.5" scale length with a 1.625" nut width and a comfortable modern C profile. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Alder body finished in a gloss Espresso brown. Classic single-cut ASAT body shape with a modern bridge and block saddles. Chrome Hardware
Electronics:
