An absolutely gorgeous Flying V featuring beautiful flame figuring under a Crimson Burst finish combined with gold hardware - stunning! This was a Guitar of the Month from 2008 & is still in near mint condition! Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl split block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Multi-bound headstock with Gibson 50th Anniversary logo & truss rod cover. Steinberger-style tuners with replacement bone nut. The original nut is included with the guitar. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: V-shaped solid mahogany body with flame maple top in Crimson Burst finish. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.6 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with pre-pack checklist & other Gibson pamphlets.
