Description
A highly sought-after model & dynamite player offering exquisite tone & feel, this gorgeous example exudes all the warmth & charm we've come to admire about the iconic Gibson Flying V. Loaded with a pair of dynamic sounding humbuckers that deliver rich, robust tones & sporting a silky smooth neck that feels comfortable anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but certainly not abused, with signs of some play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The white finish has aged over the years & mellowed into more of a cream color with nice variegation throughout & some mild scuff marks. Both volume knobs have chips in their skirts. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Wide, flat profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: V-shaped solid mahogany body with 4-ply large cream pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson USA humbuckers with exposed coils & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with original paperwork.
